Fr. Bede Fitzpatrick (ND '43) Retirement Dinner Party

Fr. Bede Fitzpatrick, OFM, first rector of the Franciscan Chapel Center in Roppongi (1967) and member of the University of Notre Dame Class of 1943, will return to the United States on August 1st after more than 50 years in Japan.

To commemorate his many years of service and his retirement, the Notre Dame Club of Japan and parishioners of the Franciscan Chapel Center are organizing a dinner at Suji's Restaurant Tokyo.

If you can, please join the fun early by attending the 6pm Mass at the Franciscan Chapel Center on Saturday, July 27th. Whether you can attend Mass or not, dinner will begin at Suji's at 8pm.

Whether we do a buffet or a la carte depends on our final headcount, so please register by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20th. (That is the time when we will give Suji's the final headcount and work out the menu, estimated prices, etc.)
